For the 2020 edition, the Venice Biennale Film Sample has made Venice VR,, the Festival’s official Virtual Reality section available
In order to open up the possibility of having global audiences, the Biennale di Venezia wanted to share the experience in various public spaces that could offer the immersive experience of the projects selected in the Show on the same days.
Thus, this Venice VR Expanded satellite program can be seen on M | A | C through its resident project AVS Laboratorio de Arte Visual y Sonoro, which has been chosen by the Espronceda Institute of Art and Culture in Barcelona, partner of the Biennale in this project.
From September 4 to 12, we will have 3 terminals in the Can Palauet exhibition halls that will allow viewing the 44 selected projects (31 in competition, 9 out of competition (Best of VR) and 4 projects developed during the fourth edition of the Biennale College Cinema-VR).
They recommend making a reservation for the day and time of viewing.
